Welcome to the Oryn Community

Hi fellow coffee lover! We're thrilled you're here to track your coffee journey with us. By opening, accessing, or using Oryn, you agree to the simple, fair terms laid out in this agreement. We skipped all the confusing legal jargon – this is just a shared set of expectations to make your experience as smooth as a perfectly pulled espresso.

Heads up: you don't need to register an account or log in to use every core feature of Oryn – open the app and start logging your brews immediately.

Your Content, Your Control

Every brew parameter you log, flavor note you write, and photo you upload belongs 100% to you. Here's how we handle your content:

• All your private journal data is stored locally on your device by default. We never collect, upload, or view your personal brew records unless you explicitly choose to share them with us for support or feedback purposes.
• You can edit, export, share, or delete any of your entries at any time, with zero restrictions.
• We recommend regularly exporting your log data if you plan to switch devices or reinstall the app. Since we don't store your personal content on our servers, we can't recover lost local data for you, so backups are always a good idea!

Kind & Fair Use Guidelines

Oryn is built to be a warm, welcoming space for all coffee enthusiasts. We ask that you follow these simple rules when using the app:

• Only upload content that you own or have explicit permission to use. Please don't share copyrighted, offensive, or harmful material in the app.
• Our virtual coffee bean reward system is purely for fun! These beans have no monetary value, can't be exchanged for cash, physical goods, or services, and are just our small way of celebrating every brew you log with us.
• If you share content from Oryn to other platforms, you are fully responsible for that content and any outcomes from sharing it.

Our Promises to You

We built Oryn for coffee lovers first, and we stand by these commitments for all users:

• We will always keep Oryn's interface minimal, elegant, and free of clunky menus or unnecessary features that disrupt your logging flow. The warm, refined specialty coffee aesthetic you love will stay intact.
• All selections in our Discovery Channel are handpicked by our in-house coffee team from trusted specialty roasters around the world. While we do our best to share accurate flavor, origin, and roast information, note that actual bean taste may vary based on your brew method, storage conditions, and batch differences – all recommendations are for reference only.
• We will never run intrusive ads that disrupt your user experience. Any future premium features will be completely optional, and all core brew logging functionality will remain free to use forever.
• We will regularly release updates to add community-requested features, improve performance, and expand our Discovery Channel library to help you explore more amazing coffee finds.

Updates to This Agreement

We may tweak these terms occasionally as we add new features to Oryn. If we make changes, we will post a visible notice in the app at least 7 days before the updated terms take effect. If you keep using Oryn after the new terms go live, that means you're happy with the changes.
